European campsites are increasingly equipping themselves with charging stations for electric vehicles. In Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, and Scandinavia, many campsites already have their own charging points. When booking, it is recommended to check the availability of charging on site or nearby using apps and portals. Campsites offer 11 or 22 kW Wallboxes and fast charging stations, but the number of spots is limited (usually 1–4), so the car must be moved after charging.
