Camping in Egypt's natural reserves requires a permit from the Environmental Affairs Agency, and entrance fees double after sunset. Some reserves, like Wadi El Rayan, have a separate camping fee: 50 Egyptian pounds for Egyptians and 200 for foreigners. Permits can be obtained through the 'Egypt Reserves' app or the agency's website, and for individuals, it's easier to book through licensed operators.
