A committee reviews domestic prices using a formula accounting for Brent, exchange rate and budget targets, but the government does not fully pass through global prices, especially for diesel and LPG. Historically reviews were quarterly, but in October 2024 the next review was postponed by 6 months, and in April 2025 prices were again raised administratively. A `mixed` classification is more practical.
