Camping in Egypt's nature reserves competes with 5-star hotels for Eid al-Adha 2026

For Eid al-Adha 2026, camping in Egyptian nature reserves (Wadi El-Hitan, Ras Mohammed, Wadi Degla) saw unprecedented demand. The cost per person per night, including permits and equipment, ranges from EGP 800 to 1,500, compared to hotel rates starting at EGP 5,000. Reserves were fully booked 48 hours before the holiday. Mobile medical caravans opened in Egypt for remote areas

The governor of North Sinai and a UNICEF representative in Egypt inaugurated mobile medical caravans at the health insurance hospital in Al-Arish. The caravans are equipped with modern medical devices for diagnosis and treatment, and will also conduct health awareness campaigns.
