Euromaster specialists warn owners of motorhomes, caravans, and campers about the need for regular checks of three key systems: tires, brakes, and suspension. These vehicles often weigh more than 3500 kg, increasing the load on these components.
Tires should be checked monthly, using models with C or CP markings and suitable for the season. Brake fluid should be replaced every two years, and pads and discs should be inspected. Suspension must be examined for wear on shock absorbers, springs, and other parts.
Before a trip, it is also important to check filters, lighting, electrics, and fluid levels. For caravans, the coupling device should be inspected as well.
