As part of a strategy to extend the tourism season to 12 months, Antalya has launched the Astro Safari Karavan project. The mobile observatory, created by Sandland festival founder Cem Karaca, offers tourists observation of the Moon, Saturn and Jupiter using professional telescopes.
The first event was held at Düden Waterfall, where guests saw the Moon. The project is planned to be expanded to other regions of Turkey, including Cappadocia and Pamukkale.
