The French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs has issued recommendations for motorhome travellers, listing high-risk zones for theft and break-ins. These include unguarded parking areas, outskirts of large cities, isolated roads and port districts. The ministry advises choosing guarded parking, avoiding dense city centres and checking the local situation before departure. Particular attention is paid to countries with limited infrastructure, such as Morocco, Albania, Romania and Turkey.
