South Korean actress Min Ji-young, who is undergoing cancer treatment, left her camper for the first time in three months, where she had been staying due to a leg injury. In a video on her channel 'Min Ji-young TV', published on August 9, she showed replacing the water filter in the camper and then took a bus with her husband to central Canterbury.
The actress said she felt like she was in a 'prison without bars' and that this was her first outing of such distance. She also mentioned the difficulties of living in the camper in summer, including the heat and a breakdown of the diesel heater. Earlier, she said she injured herself while cleaning the camper after returning from Seoul, where she had undergone cancer screening. A doctor advised her not to move for five weeks. According to a new source, the injury occurred during a motorhome trip in Spain in June — it was inflammation of a toe joint, for which she was advised to limit movement. In 2021, she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer; she had surgery to remove the right lobe, but cancer cells were found in the left lobe, so full recovery has not been confirmed. Min Ji-young said she would continue her round-the-world trip in the motorhome if she is monitored by doctors.
