Due to overtourism, especially along popular scenic routes, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration is introducing stricter parking regulations in Lofoten and at the Stegastein viewpoint. New rules include time-limited parking and a ban on overnight stays with motorhomes and caravans. The measures aim to improve traffic safety and reduce local frustration.
