In Turkey, tiny houses are not completely banned, but their legal status depends on type and location. Mobile (on wheels) are often treated as caravans and do not require a permit unless used as permanent housing with utility connections. Stationary tiny houses are considered structures and require a building permit on land with an approved development plan. Placement on agricultural land without permission entails fines and risk of demolition.
