Residents of Nevada County, California, can submit comments until July 2, 2026, on the revised draft ordinance allowing recreational vehicles to be used as permanent housing on private property. The ordinance permits RVs as accessory dwelling units in single-family residential, agricultural, and rural zones. Permits are valid for two years and renewable. The Board of Supervisors is scheduled to consider the ordinance on July 28, 2026.
