Nevada County, California, has released a proposed revised draft zoning ordinance amendment that would permit recreational vehicles to be used as long-term dwellings. Key changes include income restrictions for qualifying RV use, removal of the 3-acre minimum parcel size requirement, and allowance of RV rentals for 30 days or longer. The public comment period runs from June 2 to July 2, 2026.
