From April 2026, electric motorhomes and campervans in the UK will no longer be exempt from road tax. Most electric leisure vehicles will move to a standard annual rate of around £200. The tax amount depends on vehicle weight: TC11 (under 3500kg) and TC10 (over 3500kg). For new electric vehicles, the 'expensive car supplement' threshold increases from £40,000 to £50,000.
