Spain's Directorate-General for Traffic has updated rules for motorhomes and campervans, explicitly including the latter for the first time. The new directive establishes differentiated inspection schedules: motorhomes over 10 years require annual checks, while campervans over 10 years need inspections every six months. Local councils can limit parking duration and prohibit camping outside authorized areas based on a 2018 Supreme Court ruling.
