Spain's DGT has issued Instruction PROT 2026/04, updating rules for motorhomes, campervans and trailers. The regulation clarifies speed limits, technical inspection intervals, parking rules and the legal distinction between stopping and camping. Registered motorhomes and campervans have risen from 48,000 in 2015 to 137,000, excluding over 100,000 trailers.
