The Socialist group of the Albacete city council will present a proposal at the next plenary session to modernize, expand, and improve the infrastructure for motorhome tourism. The city's only motorhome service area, designed for eight spaces, is frequently overcrowded, especially on weekends and holidays, leading to parking in unauthorized places.
The proposal includes a comprehensive renovation with shaded canopies, toilets, electricity supply, certified water points, and a waste disposal system, as well as video surveillance and an information kiosk. Additionally, the possibility of creating a second site in the Imajinalia, Pozo Majano, or Paseo de la Cuba areas is being considered, along with a 48-hour parking limit.
