The Regional Administrative Court in Bolzano ruled against the municipality of Wolkenstein, annulling a ban on overnight parking of motorhomes on public lots. The lawsuit was filed by the National Association of Camper and Motorhome Owners. The court found that the municipal council lacked the authority to impose such restrictions, and a subsequent attempt to enforce the ban via a mayor's decree was also legally insufficient. The municipality must also cover the association's legal costs, amounting to a five-figure sum.
