The State Council of China forwarded a document titled "Several Measures on Promoting Motorhome Consumption" to ten government bodies, including the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The measures come as interest in motorhome travel rises ahead of the double holidays. Prolonged parking of motorhomes on city streets, in free parks and public parking lots has previously caused disputes between owners and residents. The document addresses both owners' parking and living costs and the shortage of public facilities for motorhomes.
