Winnebagoⓘ Industries will lay off 51 workers at its Forest City, Iowa, plant on Nov. 9, according to a WARN notice filed Oct. 9, bringing the total cuts at the plant this year to 78. The layoffs follow a separate notice filed Aug. 13 for 27 workers at the same plant, with layoffs set for Nov. 30. The cuts are in the company's specialty vehicles operation and come amid a manufacturing consolidation in Iowa and Indiana announced in August. Winnebago laid off 311 Iowa workers in 2025 as it closed plants in Charles City and Waverly.
