German camper van manufacturer Westfalia announced two models: an upgraded James Cook on Mercedes Sprinter with expanded space and a transverse double bed, and the most affordable US-market camper Wave For 2 on Ram ProMaster chassis.

James Cook 2025

Westfalia has updated the James Cook model based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. The key change is the expansion of the left side, allowing a transverse double bed in the rear and improved space utilization. Standard equipment includes a kitchen unit with a two-burner stove, 90-liter refrigerator, diesel heater, and underfloor heating.

Wave For 2

At the Florida RV Supershow, the company introduced the Wave For 2 model designed for two people. It is built on the extended Ram ProMaster 159 EXT chassis and offers sleeping space for three. The starting price is $153,000, making it the most affordable in the brand’s lineup since its return to the North American market in 2024.

Chrysler Pacifica Grizzly Peak: Off-road minivan may enter production

Chrysler is considering series production of the Pacifica Grizzly Peak concept, an off-road minivan with all-wheel drive and raised suspension. First shown in 2025, the project has gained momentum internally. Ground clearance is increased by nearly 7 cm, it rides on BFGoodrich off-road tires on 18-inch wheels, and rear seats are replaced by a storage or sleeping module. The powertrain is expected to be the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 without a hybrid option.
