Portal Outdoors has launched a Kickstarter campaign for the Nomis One inflatable rooftop tent. The tent features a split-body design that allows it to be carried in the trunk, then inflated and hoisted onto the roof or pickup bed in about 10 minutes. One source says setup takes 10 minutes, while another claims it can be done in 2 minutes with an electric pump.
The tent weighs 20.8 kg (45.8 lb) and sleeps 2–3 people. Its outer shell is made of 300D Oxford fabric with a waterproof rating of 5000 mm. Maximum load is 550 lb. The campaign has raised over $60,000, five times its goal. Early backers can get up to 38% off retail. Deliveries are scheduled for January 2027.
