Grand California update
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has presented an updated version of its flagship Grand California camper based on the Crafter. The model is available in 600 and 680 versions.
Off-grid package
Instead of the standard AGM battery, two lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries of 40 Ah each are offered, with a usable capacity of about 64 Ah instead of 46 Ah and a service life up to five times longer. The optional Off-grid package includes a 104 W solar panel for the 600 version and a 174 W panel for the 680 version. The package costs from 1719.55 euros for the 600 model and from 2326.45 euros for the 680 model; the batteries alone can be ordered separately for 833 euros.
Other updates
A driver attention warning system is now standard, with an optional intersection assistant. Infotainment features displays up to 12 inches.
