Vantec unveils Astrale Trias 480 motorhome on Isuzu Travio chassis

In June 2025, a new roadside station (Michi-no-Eki) named 'Noda Paapuru' opened in Noda Village, Iwate Prefecture. It features a motorhome campsite and is part of the Japan Camping Car Rally 2025. The station offers a local produce market, including Noda salt, and a food hall serving dishes made with regional ingredients. Popular items include salt soft-serve ice cream and salt-koji fried chicken.

Nissan offers two camper versions of its Caravan van: Myroom and Multibed. Myroom focuses on comfort and interior ambiance, while Multibed prioritizes cargo capacity for outdoor gear. Prices start at 5,765,100 yen for Myroom and 3,939,100 yen for Multibed.

Toy Factory has unveiled the new generation of the ZARA camper based on the Toyota Hiace. The model debuts at the Tokyo Camping Car Show 2026 on July 11–12.

Japanese company Nippon Tokushu Body (NTB) has introduced the Arclight motorhome on an Isuzu Beecam High Cab chassis with a 2-ton payload. It is powered by a 3.0-liter turbodiesel producing 150 hp and a 9-speed automatic transmission, available in rear- or all-wheel drive. Dimensions: length 5230 mm, width 2130 mm, height 3090 mm; accommodates 9 people and 6 sleeping berths. Standard equipment includes a 5 kWh lithium-ion battery, 585 W solar panels, and a 2000 W inverter. Price in Japan starts at 17,361,000 yen.

Toy Factory has unveiled an updated ZARA camper based on the Toyota HiAce Wide Middle. The premiere will be at the Tokyo Camping Car Show 2026 on July 11–12. Price not announced.

Earthboat (Shinanomachi, Nagano) will open Earthboat Ueda Onsen, a trailer-type hotel, in Ueda City on July 31. All 12 rooms feature a wood-fired sauna and an open-air hot spring bath. The hotel is located at the summit of Jizo Pass, connecting Ueda and Nagano. Rates start at 40,000 yen per room for two guests; pets are allowed for an additional 2,000 yen.
