VALA Group and Liuzhou Wuling (a subsidiary of Wuling Motors) have signed an agreement to jointly develop, produce and promote electric campers. The first model, valak car, positioned as an affordable electric camper, has passed the MIIT certification stage, with mass production scheduled for the second half of 2026. The partnership aims to enter the electric camper segment priced below 100,000 yuan.
Under the agreement, VALA is responsible for customisation and details, while Wuling handles production and certification. VALA gets exclusive sales rights for the finished vehicle under the name "vala kcar". The parties will jointly create a camper based on the Wuling Zhiguang EV, adapting its design and production processes.
