Harsewinkel resident Joachim Reim converted a former yellow DHL delivery van into a motorhome by himself. The conversion cost around 3000 euros, and the vehicle is now used for travels across Europe from April to October.

On Good Friday, a defective motorhome blocked the intersection of federal highway B 85 and district road REG 3 in Linden. A complete failure of the electronics and engine of the nearly new vehicle required police to change traffic management. After intervention from other motorhome drivers, the door was opened and the engine restarted, with traffic flow restored by 2:00 PM.
