On May 15, 2026, at the AIC exhibition in Beijing, SAIC Maxus (大通房车) unveiled two new dedicated RV chassis: the Xintu Yuanjie PHEV and the V90 48V DGS.
Xintu Yuanjie PHEV features a 2.0T hybrid system with over 1,000 km range, a 30.2 kWh traction battery, and a 5 kWh house battery. Price starts from ¥322,800.
V90 48V DGS uses a 48V mild hybrid system with a 15 kWh LiFePO4 battery. Price starts from ¥199,800.
According to one source, the base version of the chassis starts from ¥169,800. The company also opened its technology platform to third-party manufacturers to reduce conversion costs.
