China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has published its 412th batch of new vehicle product announcements. Hubei Qixing Automobile Body Co. has filed for the Qixing QXC5030XSYEV electric camper, based on a BAIC Foton BJ6522EVAA2 chassis. Dimensions: 5195×1880×2065 mm, wheelbase 3400 mm, gross weight 3300 kg, kerb weight 2740 kg, 6 seats, top speed 100 km/h. A pop-up roof is fitted, usable only when parked. Equipment includes tables, cooking facilities, a bed, sanitary facilities, lighting and air conditioning. The motor is a FTTBP125A (55 kW rated, 125 kW peak) from BAIC Foton, with a lithium iron phosphate battery from CATL. Optional: direct-powered ETC and an event data recorder (EDR). ABS models YF9 and YF8 from Wuhan Yuanfeng. Rear suspension: 2 or 1 leaf spring. The filing moves the model closer to official listing and subsequent sales.
