The outdoor hospitality industry has launched a new resource to help campground and RV park owners understand what Grounding Monitor Interrupter (GMI) technology means for their electrical infrastructure. GMIs will become a required safety feature in new 30-amp and 50-amp RVs beginning with Model Year 2028. The resource, developed with OHI, Electrical Works, RVIA and other organizations, is available at OHI.org/GMI and will provide practical guidance and educational materials.
