Jamie McMillan Acquires Ownership of Campkin's RV Centre

A travel trailer was destroyed Sunday afternoon when it struck farm machinery on Round Lake Road near Bucholtz Road in Laurentian Valley, Ontario. The SUV towing the trailer and the tractor with equipment collided around 2:15 p.m., causing the trailer to disintegrate. No injuries were reported.

A couple from Vancouver, after losing their son to a fentanyl overdose, opened an alcohol- and drug-free campground in Nova Scotia. The 8-acre site offers 10 RV hookups, tent sites, a playground, and walking trails. The campground opened last fall but was closed due to wildfires; this is its first full season.

Jagger and Dawson Glowatsky from Vegreville, Alberta, launch a six-episode series 'Young Farts Trailer Parts' on Prime Video on July 17. The company started as a brick-and-mortar parts shop but shifted to online sales after appearing on 'Dragons' Den' in 2021, amassing nearly 400,000 TikTok followers.

Chuck Hayden, a full-time RV traveller, reported that a group threw items at his vehicle and banged on it in Flowers Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador, around 3 a.m. on July 9. The incident was reported to the RCMP. The Town of Flowers Cove stated it is installing cameras in response to an 'ongoing pattern of disrespect and destruction on municipal property,' including vandalism and misuse of off-road vehicles. Hayden, who sold his home and has been travelling for four and a half years, said the experience has not changed his love for the province.

Lakeshore council unanimously supported a notice of motion Tuesday from Ward 3 Coun. Kelsey Santarossa asking administration to create a new bylaw for recreational vehicle storage. The decision was made on July 15, 2026.
