MG may start producing EVs in Spain from 2027. Local production could lower the MG4 price to €22,000–24,000, and with the Auto Plan subsidy, below €20,000. This would make the electric hatchback competitive with petrol models. It would also reduce delivery times and avoid import tariffs of up to 45%.
