Buckley Conversions has unveiled an electric camper van interior based on the Mercedes eSprinter, almost entirely produced with 3D printing. The vehicle weighs 680 kg less than one built with wood or aluminum, resulting in increased electric range and improved handling. The process uses fiber-reinforced thermoplastic materials with a honeycomb internal geometry, allowing for large components up to two meters long. Safety and durability tests are still pending.
