The third edition of 4x4 Off Road Fest will take place on 26 September at the Cañuelas exhibition grounds in Buenos Aires from 10:00 to 18:00, with free entry and parking. After two years in Luján, the event has moved to a larger site; more than 100 prepared pickups, campers, motorhomes and mini off-road trailers will be on display, alongside over 60 equipment stands. Demonstrations, Ranger and Land Rover club areas, food trucks and pet-friendly access with short leashes are planned. In case of rain, the event will be postponed to the following Saturday.

Silvia and Sergio from Rosario converted a 1995 Mercedes-Benz 1215 passenger bus into a motorhome and have been traveling South America for over a year. Sergio originally bought the bus for spare parts for his work trucks, but his wife suggested turning it into a mobile home. The interior includes a full kitchen, inverter refrigerator, washing machine, air conditioning, and a 500-liter potable water tank. Power is supplied by four 450 W solar panels and two 200 Ah lithium batteries, with a 3000 W inverter peaking at 5000 W. A dry toilet and grey water tank are used. The couple reports lower stress and reduced consumption since retiring.

Demand for motorhomes and caravans in Argentina increased after the pandemic. Renting one costs USD 100–120 per day, higher than a three-star hotel. Fuel, insurance and a deposit for potential damage are additional. A used caravan costs USD 30,000–40,000, while a fully equipped motorhome ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000. More than 10 rental companies operate in the country. The Expo Rodantear show is scheduled for October 22–25.
