Dometic expands Go Power! team in Elkhart

California-based startup Aboard closed a $4.3 million pre-series A round in May, bringing total financing to $13 million. The funds will support mass production of its 24-foot hybrid-electric travel trailer, which features a 200 kWh battery, auxiliary drive for towing, and up to seven days of off-grid operation. Manufacturing will be based in Southern California, with preorders starting at $80,000 and deliveries expected in Q4 2026.

A Brazilian family based in Orlando plans to spend about a month and a half in a motorhome following the Brazilian national team during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The project will produce a documentary series of over 10 episodes focusing on family experience, logistics, and football culture. The route covers matches in the US, Canada, and Mexico, reflecting a broader trend in sports tourism.

The average nightly rental price for a camper in the US fell from €185.91 in 2024 to €172.57 in 2025, a decrease of 7%. Genesis Products introduced a new line of RV countertops using EverCore, a high-performance composite material designed as an alternative to laminate and solid surfaces. The material is waterproof, nonporous, and resistant to stains, impacts, and scratches. It can be cut and machined with standard woodworking tools, available in thicknesses from 1/4 to 1 inch and slab sizes up to 60 by 144 inches, with UltraFoil HPL finishes.

RVLI, a national RV aftermarket representative agency, has expanded its vendor portfolio. Effective April 1, it partnered with Chenango Valley Technologies, maker of Volt Protector battery boxes, and from June 1, with Recreation Safety Products, maker of Waypoint CO/LP alarms. The agency also dropped Prest O Fit and WackO Products. Both new lines are made in the USA.
