The Ford Nugget camper is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2026. The model was introduced in 1986 as a joint project between Ford and Westfalia, based on the Ford Transit. In 2023, the fifth generation arrived with a hybrid powertrain and all-wheel drive.
To mark the anniversary, a limited retro series will be produced, styled after the original black-and-white design. Over four decades, the model has evolved from a basic camper into a family of versions, including models with their own bathroom and all-wheel-drive variants for off-road use.
