Daihatsu presented the Hijet Truck Panel Van EXTEND3 concept at Tokyo Auto Salon 2026. Its cargo bed slides rearward by 850 mm, expanding interior length to 2700 mm to sleep two adults. The manufacturer is considering a production version, pending evaluations of the mechanism's strength and safety.
