China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism and nine other departments on September 18 released measures to promote motorhome consumption, addressing gaps in standards, parking, campsite land use and fragmented facilities. Beijing has about 60 motorhome campsites, mostly in outer suburbs; a recent show in Shunyi sold nearly 100 vehicles for over 10 million yuan. The measures scrap mandatory scrapping for small self-propelled motorhomes and extend service life for rental units, reducing ownership costs.
