Chausson has presented the X640 for 2027, a compact profiled motorhome with a width of 2.10 m, which is 20–25 cm narrower than standard semi-integrated models. Length is 6.55 m, with four seating and four sleeping positions.
The layout centers on an electric drop-down bed (140×190 cm) that retracts to the ceiling during the day, freeing space for a garage. The dining area converts into an additional bed (90×195 cm). The manufacturer claims the largest bathroom, wardrobe, and face-to-face sofa in its class. The interior features light tones with green accents.
The model is built on a Fiat Ducatoⓘ chassis with a 140 hp diesel engine and manual gearbox. Standard equipment includes climate control, cruise control, 16-inch black alloy wheels, all-season tires, and solar panel preparation. Unlike the predecessor X650, the wardrobe has been relocated, freeing space for the garage. All new Chausson chassis, except the van line, feature the wood-free IRP 360 construction. Price and release date have not yet been announced.
