Alpine, a renowned manufacturer of automotive electronics, has introduced its first air conditioner for campers — the "DC Cooler ECO System." The device was showcased at the Japan Camping Car Show 2026. Development began at the initiative of an Alpine employee who is himself a camper owner and wanted to create the perfect air conditioner for sleeping in a vehicle.

Equipped with three air vents (front and sides) switchable via remote control, allowing airflow to be directed to different zones. Features a sleep mode that turns off the display backlight and an indirect lighting function.
