Thetfordⓘ Town Youth FC in Suffolk incurred thousands of pounds in damages after 20 traveller caravans broke into their pitches using an angle grinder on July 3. The group drove over the playing fields, leaving behind rubbish such as a car seat, cans, and dirty nappies. The club had to fill five trailers of waste and lost £2,000 worth of grass seed and fertilizer. Norfolk Police were contacted.
