A 2020 Juwei Ford New Era small-overcab motorhome, first registered in September 2020, has been listed for sale in China. It has 68,000 km on the odometer, three ownership transfers, and is classified as non-commercial. At the Caravan Salon 2026 in Düsseldorf (Aug 28–Sep 6), Ahorn Camp will show the updated T 590, a 5.99 m partially integrated motorhome based on the new Renault Master. Base price is €59,900. Features include an L-shaped seating group, French double bed, separate shower cubicle, Thetford absorption fridge (89 l), and a new CBE control panel. Options include an electrically operated drop-down bed for €1,790 and Isofix child seat anchors for €390.
The 2026 27North Winston is built on a 170-inch-wheelbase Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 XD AWD cutaway chassis and measures approximately 24 feet long, 7 feet 2 inches wide, and 10 feet 1 inch tall. It offers three floor plans: 27A with a fixed queen bed, 27B with a convertible dinette, and 27C with twin beds. Standard equipment includes a 10-kWh lithium battery bank, a 3,600-watt inverter, a 1,000-watt solar package, a 48-volt EcoFlow system, a Velit air conditioner, a Truma Combi diesel heater, a full shower, and a Thetford toilet. The MSRP is $249,500.
Thetford Town Youth FC in Suffolk incurred thousands of pounds in damages after 20 traveller caravans broke into their pitches using an angle grinder on July 3. The group drove over the playing fields, leaving behind rubbish such as a car seat, cans, and dirty nappies. The club had to fill five trailers of waste and lost £2,000 worth of grass seed and fertilizer. Norfolk Police were contacted.
Carado has introduced the T335 Edition27, a semi-integrated motorhome with a non-standard layout. Instead of a rear bedroom, it features a large bathroom with wardrobe and garage access, a convertible lounge in the middle, and an electric drop-down bed that lowers to seat cushion height. The model includes a gas kitchen with a round sink and optional Thetford oven, plus modular storage in the rear garage. Exterior color is Moondust Silver with a Ford Trail grille.
Carado has introduced a new special edition camper van, the CV595 X-Edition, based on the VW Crafter 4Motion. It features a 163 hp diesel engine, eight-speed automatic transmission, and rear axle differential lock. The key upgrade is a custom fiberglass (GFK) roof, increasing interior headroom to 1.98 m. Inside, there is a transverse double bed up to 2 m long, separate wet room with Thetford cassette toilet, and a winter package with heated tanks. The camper is 5.99 m long, making it suitable for daily use.
Encore RV has introduced the ROG 12RK‑FB, a compact travel trailer with a fold-out bathroom module integrated into the drawbar. The aluminum module deploys in seconds, creating a 2.1 m tall space with a shower, Thetford cassette toilet, lighting, and heating from the main 18,000 BTU system. It includes a 163 L water tank and an instant water heater. When folded, the module doubles as a cargo platform for bikes. Price starts at $34,495 (€29,885).
Slovenian manufacturer Sun Living, a subsidiary of Adria, has unveiled a special 20ED series to mark its 20th anniversary. The lineup includes three motorhomes (C, S, A series) on Ford chassis and one campervan V 65GX on Fiat chassis. Models feature exclusive exterior colors, graphics, and upgraded equipment such as a digital dashboard, Truma diesel heater, and Thetford refrigerators. Prices start at €64,500 for motorhomes and €63,500 for the campervan.
Mary Pouliot, former executive vice president at Thetford, has been appointed president of The RV Factory and its Luxe Fifth Wheels brand, as announced via a Facebook post. Pouliot brings over two decades of experience in the RV industry from the vendor side.
A Chinese motorhome on a Maxus V100 chassis with slide-out walls, previously typical for American models, has been introduced in Russia. The 5.99 m vehicle features a 2.0 L diesel engine (147 hp) and automatic transmission, requiring a category 'C' license. Equipment includes a 7.2 kWh lithium-ion battery, 400 W solar panels, diesel heating, air conditioning, a 142 L Thetford refrigerator, and six berths. The price in Moscow is about 5.5 million rubles turnkey, lower than European and American counterparts with similar features.
US manufacturer Encore RV from Elkhart, Indiana, presented the 2026 ROG 12RK-FB caravan at Overland Expo West in Arizona. The 12-foot model features a pop-up bathroom mounted on the drawbar, including a shower and Thetford cassette toilet, preserving interior living space. Construction includes an aluminum chassis, composite panels, and a one-piece fiberglass roof.

Thetford, a manufacturer of RV and caravan equipment, announced the passing of its CEO Stéphane Cordeille. The executive leadership team received the news on May 31. Cordeille led the company through periods of growth and transformation; his duties have been temporarily assumed by the executive team.

Waldoch Crafts Inc., based in Forest Lake, Minnesota, announced commercial availability of the StarLux, a fully integrated camper van conversion on the Ford Transit 350HD High Roof platform. The model includes a driver-side private bathroom with shower and Thetford toilet, a passenger-side galley kitchen with induction cooktop and refrigerator, and an off-grid power system with a 200Ah AGM battery, 180W solar panel, and 2,000W inverter. Four Ford Transit 350HD configurations are offered, including rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive variants. Conversion components carry a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.

Thetford has introduced the iNDUS ECO toilet for motorhomes, which requires no chemical additives. It uses 200 ml of water for a small flush and 500 ml for a full flush, weighs 7.5 kg, and features a quiet macerating pump. The system can be emptied into grey water disposal points. According to the manufacturer, it is the first chemical-free toilet designed for all motorhomes.
