Heavy rains flood Lake Tekir in Erciyes, submerging caravans and tents

The municipal caravan park in Konyaaltı, with a capacity of 70 vehicles, is full of tourists during the holiday period. Visitors from Turkey and abroad choose it for its proximity to the beach, infrastructure, and affordable prices.

The Caravan Manufacturers and Suppliers Association (KAİTED) held a meeting in Didim, where participants stated that the main issue is not a lack of campsites but the inability to park legally. They ask municipalities to create equipped zones with reasonable fees and oversight.
