A scandal has erupted in Switzerland: a 55-year-old seller, operating between Cresciano and Grono and residing in Semione, collected hundreds of thousands of Swiss francs from clients for motorhomes that were never delivered. At least 15 people from the cantons of Ticino and Graubünden transferred money but never received the vehicles. Since January, the man has been unreachable and his company has been shut down.
One victim transferred 35,000 francs for a vehicle that, it turned out, belonged to another person and was not actually for sale. The seller ceased operations and stopped responding to communications.
