On Tuesday afternoon, a car and a campervan collided on a country road between Jeserig and Rensdorf (according to other reports, on the L52 between Drebkau and Jerzerig, Brandenburg). After the impact, the campervan overturned. Both occupants of the campervan were able to leave the vehicle and were examined on site by an ambulance crew; the car driver was trapped and had to be freed by rescuers, then taken to hospital.
Police reported no fatalities. Both vehicles were recovered. Damage was estimated by police at around €100,000. The road was fully closed until 5 p.m. due to complex recovery work.
