On Monday afternoon, a caravan overturned on the A4 motorway between Friedewald and Bad Hersfeld. The vehicle combination skidded on a downhill section, causing the caravan to tip onto its side. No one was injured, and traffic was diverted onto the hard shoulder. The extent of the damage is not yet known.
