A 60-year-old man suffered second and third-degree burns in a caravan fire on April 13 in a forested area near Montignac. The fire, suspected to have originated from a heating system, completely destroyed the travel trailer where the man had lived for several years without authorization. The victim was airlifted to the burns unit at Pellegrin Hospital in Bordeaux.
