Yurt fire spreads to motorhome (Vernassabre)

On May 23, a 30 m² yurt located in a wooded area caught fire in the village of Vernassabre (Craponne-sur-Arzon). The fire spread to a nearby motorhome and partially damaged an SUV. Gas cylinders exploded. The 51-year-old owner suffered burns to his hands and back and was evacuated in serious condition to Émile-Roux hospital. 26 firefighters were on site, an investigation has been opened.

Motorhome completely burned (Longeville-sur-Mer)

In Longeville-sur-Mer (Vendée), a motorhome caught fire. 17 firefighters arrived to find the vehicle fully engulfed in flames, with partial spread to the forest (20 m²). The owner sustained minor burns and was taken to Les Sables-d’Olonne hospital.

Motorhome crash on RN19 (Pomoy)

On the RN19 highway in the commune of Pomoy, a motorhome collided with a passenger car. According to different sources, between six and seven people sustained minor injuries. Local authorities had previously expressed concern about the accident rate on this section, called the "road of death," and requested the installation of a radar. A representative of a local collective noted that a bypass road around Pomoy is planned only in 10 years, after the completion of the first phase of work at Amblans and Genevreuille.
