Two people were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Monday evening after a crash involving a camping trailer on Interstate 77 in Carroll County, Virginia, according to the Hillsville Fire Department. Crews responded to a report of a crash on southbound I-77 at about 8:04 p.m. Oct. 12 at mile marker 18.7. A pickup pulling a camper had collided with an SUV and gone up an embankment; everyone involved was helped out of the vehicles and another crew mitigated a propane tank leak.
