In July and August, prices dropped from 324 to 195 euros per day. A two-week trip now costs 2,128 euros instead of 3,178 euros. The price gap with Germany narrowed from 77% in 2022 to 17% in 2026. Live searches on campstar.com show that for July 2027, the median offer across seven major US locations is 191 euros per day, with compact campervans available from 45 euros. In September 2027, the average US price is expected to be 136 euros per day versus 191 euros in July.
