On Sunday afternoon, a collision involving three vehicles occurred on the B77 near Kropp in Schleswig-Holstein. The driver of a Wohnmobil (camper van) hit the end of a traffic jam almost without braking, crushing all three cars. Ten people were injured, and some were taken to hospital.
Several ambulances, a volunteer fire brigade, and a rescue helicopter were on site. The road was temporarily closed in both directions, causing long traffic jams on diversion routes.
