Circumstances
In Hagen-Altenhagen, unknown perpetrators loosened several wheel nuts on a motorhome between 4 and 11 September 2026. According to the investigation, the nuts were loosened on Stadionstrasse.
Discovery
The owner discovered four of five nuts missing on one wheel while driving on the autobahn, when they fell off in a curve. An accident was avoided. The police report was only filed the following weekend.
Additional
A note with alleged parking rules was found on the windshield wiper of the owner's second car parked on Houbenstrasse; the note was seized by police. The traffic commission is investigating, and witnesses are asked to call 02331 986 2066.
